Cathy Grier’s gritty, soulful vocals underscore the poignancy of her lyrics. A blues traveler with a dynamic stage presence, and tasty guitar licks. In her eclectic writing and performing style, blues is a fundamental cornerstone of everything she does. Cathy’s life story can be felt in every heartfelt note.
Multi-instrumentalist Paul Taylor originally hails from Memphis, where he’s a second-generation musician, but for the past two years he’s made Door County his home. At home on guitar, drums, bass, keys and songwriting for as long as he can remember, Paul cut his teeth during rhythm and blues, jazz, and blues gigs on Memphis’s famous Beale Street. His most recent album, It Is What It Isn’t, merges Parliament and Afrobeat with funk, blues, and jazz to create a sound that’s truly one of a kind.
