Set against the snowy backdrop of Door County, A Cherry Pie Christmas brings local flavor and holiday magic together on the big screen!
On Saturday, December 13, at 7 p.m., DCA hosts the Door County premiere of A Cherry Pie Christmas, a festive romantic comedy filmed entirely in our own backyard. Starring Katie Leclerc (Switched at Birth, A Very Vermont Christmas) and Ryan Carnes (General Hospital, Desperate Housewives), the film follows an ambitious pastry chef who returns home for the holidays—and must choose between her big-city career and her family’s struggling orchard.
Written and directed by John Stimpson (A Cape Cod Christmas, Letters to Santa), the movie also features familiar Door County faces, businesses, and landmarks. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with lobby festivities—caroling, cozy sweaters, and of course, cherry pie—before the free but ticketed screening.
